SHERIAR BRADBURY - Managing Director

When I set up Bradbury Hamilton in the early 90’s I wanted to provide clients with easily accessible, real world financial advice that seamlessly fitted with their personal and business needs to help them achieve their life goals.

My years of experience had convinced me exemplary industry and technical knowledge was only half the story; to offer my clients an effective advice service I would also need to build strong research and administrative departments.

Currently based in the City of London with nationwide coverage, our vision is to create national representation.

I started by employing the best people available, and encouraging their growth through constant innovation and professional development at every level in the company. For example, we introduced our Retail Distribution Review ready proposition almost a decade before it became compulsory, and in 2007 we were also delighted to be awarded chartered status by the Chartered Insurance Institute.

But we don’t just rely on qualifications and only speaking when we’re spoken to at review times. We keep a close eye on new developments in the market and often offer our clients unprompted suggestions and advice for them to consider.

Since opening in 1993 I have built a team of motivated and experienced IFAs, paraplanners; who research and gather information and administrators; who make sure it all happens as it should. It’s a team I am proud to work with, and who I believe offer the highest standard of relevant, innovative thinking and advice available, backed by exemplary service. What’s more you’ll find each team member has an open and can-do attitude.

Having gained an economics degree, I began in accountancy before building considerable client and market experience through working as an advisor for the Porchester Group, MI Group and Berkeley Morgan. I obtained the Chartered Financial Planner qualification in 2007.

I regularly comment in the press as a keen advocate and spokesman for the IFA sector.
